Imagine an oversexed adult woman putting on a play for her parents and closest friends in her living room — all by herself. You can see Murder, Oops! in all its stupid glory starting June 5th (9:30pm) at the Broadwater (Studio) in the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Blending the ethos of children performing at family events with the technical abilities of an overly trained 30-something woman, Murder, Oops! brings the audience into a world full of love, sensuality, and music where you leave feeling like you, too, could make your theatrical dreams come to life. There is no one helming this ship but the writer-performer herself, and the ensuing chaos makes you wonder whether it was planned at all, or in fact made up on the spot.

Murder, Oops! is a world where Romantic Love is all-consuming, irrational, and changeable at a moment’s notice. An ;unhinged; play performed by some lady, Murder, Oops! begs the question — what if that random bitch entertains us? When the main girl falls in love with her boyfriend’s murderer, we’re cast into quick-fire love stories with every romantic interest getting their moment to speak (or rather, sing) their mind. What do we got — pizza, bats, landlords, stalkers, and of course, The Murderer.

At the end of the day it’s just all about being fun and flirty and saying exactly what you want, even if what you want is simply to make out for a while.
